Preliminary Report on the Survey of Hajjiabad-Varamin, a Site of the Konar Sandal Settlement Network (Jiroft, Kerman, Iran)

The purpose of this article is to introduce the large prehistoric site Hajjiabad-Varamin, its changes in time and first discoveries made there, specific literature on early Bronze Age south-eastern Iranian Plateau. part describes site, present damaged conditions, periodisation we adopted complex topographic shifts functions through time. second focuses settlement 3rd millennium BC discusses a major craft activity area found east main elevation which were manufactured vessels various stones (white alabaster, grey limestones with white fossil inclusions, probably chlorite). Collections include drill-heads volcanic rocks used interior stone pots, standardised beads green red-banded calcite broken while being drilled. While find abundant comparisons certainly demand for long-distance trade, type not known other contexts presumably local demand.
